This video vlog is about the requirement for the maintenance of the daily chemical log. These are required on all commercial pools in Florida. Health Departments are really enforcing these logs. Chlorine/bromine and pH are required everyday. If pool/spa is on stabilized chlorine then chlorine stabilizer(cyanuric acid) is required to be recorded on weekly basis on the log.
But lets discuss other items that can be written on this log even though the health department does not require them. I would write vacuum and pressure gauge readings so that you know how your system is working. Flow rate is also another good one to write on the log daily in order to know how your system is working and if your filters need to be cleaned. Write total alkalinity every time your are there and calcium hardness monthly.
